Residing and teaching in the Bay Area, Erika is a Bikram certified yoga instructor and a RYT 500. She has studied under the expert teachings of Elena Brower, Anne Marie Kramer and zen master Ryuten Paul Rosenblum Roshi. Erika continues to learn and grow under the mentorship of master teachers, Lesley Desaulniers and Lynn Whitlow. Erika teaches with both fire and softness as she guides her students with compassion through asana and breath.

In addition to her love of teaching, Erika is a certified holistic health coach and mama to her 4-year-old son, Zander.

In this course, 500RYT Erika Fischer will walk you through every step of the way, from the props you will need to get started, to the breakdown of essential poses, to weekly flows that will get you moving, breathing and feeling incredible.

You will not only get the knowledge you need to feel comfortable and confident walking into an all levels yoga class, you will also have the knowledge, skills and intuition to cultivate your own home practice. Don’t feel like leaving home to get your yoga in? No problem. Practice in the comfort of your own home as we navigate this yoga journey together. At the end of the course you will also have unlimited access to two well-rounded and invigorating 45-minute classes that you can practice to anytime.

When does the course start and finish?
The fully automated, self-paced course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish. If you opt for group coaching, your instructor will guide you along each week with group check-in calls.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own. The group coaching, weekly check-in calls, and app access lasts 8 weeks, with the option of continuing after the course for a monthly subscription fee.

Why yoga?

Yoga is much more than turning your body into a pretzel. There are many different modalities of yoga, but within each system there carries similarities of emphasis to breath, meditation, asana (postures) and concentration on the mind and body connection. With these practices comes not only a more flexible body, but also clarity of mind, stress reduction, improved mood and sleep, even lower blood pressure! Yoga can be a great compliment to an active lifestyle, providing longevity and recovery to both your physical and mental body.
